Money Can Indeed Bring More Happiness

Money Can Indeed Bring More Happiness

After all, why do we work so hard? Why save so much money, set money aside, and learn all the secrets and laws of Financial Education? Don’t worry— all this effort is worthwhile. I know there is the old saying, “Money doesn’t bring happiness,” but that is not entirely true. Let’s look at a few examples.

This task of defending Money as a generator of Happiness is not one of the most complex. I’m sure we all have more than a thousand and one examples of how money can provide us with little bursts of joy and contentment in our lives.

But what we want to find here are some examples that would give you a genuine feeling of Happiness. Not something fleeting or momentary that, in order to stay alive, requires a constant flow of additional money—almost an addiction. Rather, something that fills our souls and leaves us more serene so we can live life to the fullest.

Use your money to work at what you love.
In my opinion, this is perhaps one of the best uses of money. After all, with a few exceptions, we have to work to live, right? And we probably spend more time working than doing anything else in our lives, whether resting, sleeping, or watching ‘Big Brother.’

Being able to effectively choose your work without having to worry about short-term financial returns is a privilege.

Use your money to help other people.
If everything goes well, financially speaking, you will probably have more money than you actually need to live a decent life. Of course, we are assuming that you will live a frugal life and not behave like a consumer without limits.

If this is the case, why not use the extra money to help others? We are not talking about simply giving money away, or about cheap handouts. Rather, we mean truly being able to create a project that makes a difference in the lives of the people who need it most.

Use your money to secure (just a little of) your children’s future.
Giving your children a peaceful future is one of the goals of most parents. And money can indeed be used for this purpose. But don’t forget that you will need to work much harder to achieve this goal; money alone is not enough.

Education, affection, trust, humility, perseverance, and resilience are just some of the ‘inheritances’ you will have to leave your children, and they are much more important than a well-funded bank account.

Use your money to have more free time.
TIME. This is one of the most expensive resources in our modern lives. Don’t waste it. And if you have some money left over, why not use it to ‘buy’ a little free time?

Use your money to take better care of your health.
When we are young, we don’t have money, but we have our health. And as we grow older, we lack good health, while money may start to accumulate!
Invest in your health now. There are habits that will help you have better health and that cost nothing, or very little. However, your health may require very expensive procedures.

With the development of medicine, many cutting-edge techniques, medications, and doctors will cost you a very ‘hefty’ check. However, your chances of having good health will be greater. So be prepared: the value of ‘health’ in your wallet will become increasingly more significant.

Use your money to live longer and better.
What is the point of living longer if you cannot live well? You need to live longer and enjoy a good quality of life. This means being healthy, being able to travel, enjoying your grandsons and granddaughters, and whatever else life allows. And this costs money.

Are all these points described so far possible to achieve without money? Without a doubt, yes. But it is certain that money will provide considerable help in achieving them.
