QR Asset and B3 (B3SA3) announced this Wednesday (09/08/21) a partnership to launch the stock exchange’s first course on crypto, free of charge and 100% online.
The objective of “How to Invest in Crypto on the stock exchange” is to educate people about the asset class so they can explore it without taking risks. During the pre-launch period starting today, it is possible to reserve a spot on the website created by B3 and QR Asset. Registration officially begins on Monday (13).
The course content was designed to be educational and to take into account the broad range of investor profiles and age groups. The course will be divided into three modules and will include eight lessons with professionals and experts from the crypto market. Those who complete it will receive a certificate signed by B3.
“Investments linked to the crypto asset market are recent in Brazil and require investors to have an understanding of them,” explained Christianne Bariquelli, superintendent of Education at B3.
The course will be “an interesting source of knowledge on the subject, providing more relevant information about the characteristics of this type of investment,” she added.
For Alexandre Ludolf, Investment Director at QR Asset, financial education is important, especially for an emerging asset class.
“The objective is to inform investors that there are safe, regulated, and very simple ways to invest in this asset class,” the executive emphasized. “We were also concerned with teaching ways to protect themselves from fraud, pyramid schemes, and several other ‘siren songs’ that permeate the unregulated market.”
